How to Play Go Fish
Each player starts with a hand of cards. On your turn, ask one opponent for a rank you already hold — if they have any, they hand them over and you ask again.
Asking and fishing
- You may only ask for a rank you already hold at least one of.
- If the player has that rank, they give you all of it and you take another turn.
- If they don't, they say 'Go Fish' and you draw from the pond.
- Collect four of a kind to complete a 'book' and set it aside.
Winning
When all the books are made, the player with the most books wins.
Strategy & Tips
- Pay attention to what opponents ask for — it tells you which cards they hold.
- Ask for ranks you've heard others request, once you also hold one.
- Empty a rank from your hand into a book as soon as you can.
- Vary who you ask so opponents learn less about your hand.
- Remember which ranks have been completed so you don't ask for them.
