How to Play Crescent
Sixteen tableau piles of six cards curve around eight foundations. The Ace foundations build up by suit; the King foundations build down by suit. Move all the tableau cards onto the foundations to win.
Playing
- Move one tableau card at a time onto a same-suit card one rank higher or lower (the sequence wraps King to Ace).
- Build the Ace foundations up and the King foundations down, each by suit.
- You may move cards back off the foundations to help — except the starting Aces and Kings.
- Out of moves? Use a shuffle to bring buried cards to the top.
Difficulty
Choose Easy (9 shuffles), Medium (6), or Hard (3) from the toolbar.
Strategy & Tips
- Plan before shuffling — you only get a limited number.
- Use the wrap-around (King to Ace) to bridge sequences in the tableau.
- Free the buried foundation cards before you spend a shuffle.
- Bring cards back from the foundations sparingly, only when it unlocks more play.
- Work the longest piles down first to expose what's underneath.
